They consider their camels their family - So this animal living with you in tenderness and with time you get attached to it just like your attachment to your mother and father - So you only sell this animal if you needed to, only - However, some people cry after they sell their camel - When they hand out the money they cry - They cry for the camel they sold The tea they drink here is called Osmanli tea We're here for a start By the camels This is where they milk them, camel milk is consumed a lot more than cow milk here This is where they milk it fresh And take it to the houses They invited us to one of their meals Called Maajeen It's made of dried camel meat cooked with fats and salt Which preserves it for long periods. - 10, 20, to 30 days - If it contains good salt and if it was all clean it would stay preserved for a month without any changes The thing that surprised me the most is while we were there I heard them speaking a language I don't understand I discovered then that it is not Arabic in the first place [ speaking foreign ] - The language we speak is the mountain language At home you don't speak Arabic - No - Only few speak Arabic in the mountain [ speaking foreign ] - This is our language that we keep using - People older than me don't understand Arabic - We don't know it - We're people living in the nature of what we were born into Can you teach me some words?
